Hi Graham, assuming you refer to the budget IR conversion as suited to the Standard 5x42 Photon at subsonic ranges:

The iris lens cap is £24
The IR is £24 too.

Total is £48 + £6 RMSD, in stock, can be posted tomorrow to receive next day before 1PM.

PP addy is: davidgeorge69@btinternet.com

Cheers my 'ansum.

Hi Steve, The iris hole is usually about 1" for moderate amounts of IR being used.

I can vary the size to approximately mitigate the amount of excess IR the sensor is receiving according to how much excess IR you are throwing out in front of it - or if you are shooting very low ranges. I can offer them with smaller iris holes if the buyer indicates they are using loads of IR. I would suggest about 22mm ish for the T20 if it has an Oslon Black full power LED in it in single mode, being used at rimfire ranges.

I frequently get enquiries about using them with a doubler - but I have never used a doubler. I assume the outer diameter may be slightly different from the Photon outer diameter at the extreme end of the objective housing. Given the lens cap is a friction fit it is doubtful they will be usable for that purpose.

I also believe the doubler is equipped with it's own flip up lens cover that has an iris feature doing the same function - which partially accounts for its cost.
