.20 Tactical Sako 75, stock, dies and cases.

Post by silpig » 06 Mar 2017, 16:20

FOR SALE

1.
20 Tac Sako 75.
It has a 22", Lothar Walther, 1:10, stainless steel barrel with 5/8 UNF muzzle thread. The contour of the barrel is custom and the stock has had the barrel channel opened up to allow for the larger profile barrel. I fitted the barrel myself about 4 years ago and since then it has fired approx' 420 rounds. The bolt has been fluted. Also, the stock has had some modification to, what was, the palm-swell; I believe the previous owner (when it was .222) cut some finger channels to allow him to use it left-handed (please see pics). Included in the sale of the gun will be the remaining 80 rounds of home-loaded ammunition and 120 fired cases. This little rifle is a belter - I have always used the Nosler 40gn bullets and they shoot very small groups at a measured 3,800fps. If you are in any doubt about my ability to chamber and fit a barrel then you are more than welcome to check the barrel with a bore scope. I have also fitted barrels for quite a few, better known, forum members and sponsors.

Price £600

Also for sale;

2.
Joe West Laminated stock for the above gun.
This is a black, laminated replica of the Mcmillan A?, with adjustable cheek-piece. It has been inlet over-size to allow for bedding compound and the barrel channel has been made (at my request) with generous clearance. The stock is as delivered and has never been fitted. The finish on the stock is oiled. There are also QD studs fitted and a good quality butt pad. This is a lovely stock and when the barrel/action and stock have been offered together, it feels perfect in the arm!

Price £300

3.
20 Tactical reloading die set.
This is a "TYPE S. BUSHING STYLE NECK SIZING DIE SET" It includes; 1x body die, 1x seating die, 1x (bushing) neck die and 1x bushing of .230". The part number of the die set is 78660. They are listed at £161 on Spud's website. The condition is as new as they've only loaded 500 rounds. The spare pin and allen-key are both still in the box.

Price £90

4.
100x new Dakota/Lapua 20 Tac brass.
100pcs. Brand new and unopened.

£50

Hi Adrian,

That's a great outfit for sale. Is your Sako a floor plate or magazine? My A1 222 is a floor plate and I just wondered if your adjustable stock would fit?

Thank you,
Brett

Hi Brett.
Unfortunately, the Sako 75 has a detachable magazine.
Thanks.
Adrian.

love this calibre as most will know i have 2 and if i could get a slot for a third i would be ripping your arm off,

stunning calibre for varminting and foxing with little or no recoil to,speak of,

what a deal so much so i have to rethink how much i would ask for mine,

rip his arms of someone, you won't find another deal like this,

Cheers Bob.

If (when) I get back into shooting foxes with NV, it will definitely be with another 20 Tac! It absolutely smashes rabbits to pieces, flies as flat as a .22/250 and only uses 25.5gns of powder to do so. It's perfect for NV!
