Embarrasing or what?

Went out with the rifle and N.V. last night.
Shooting ftom the car through the passenger side window.
Took two bunnies then spotted a third.
Lined it up nicely and took the shot.

It didn't sound right and I could see that the bunny was sitting there wondering what was going on.
I brought the rifle back into the car and gave it a quick look over. Seemed O.K. so I looked for bunny again.
He had, of course, disappeared by now so I thought 'Sod it' and went home.

Didn't give it too much more thought until this afternoon when the wife asked.

"What happened to the wing mirror?"

Duuuhhhhhhhhhhh!

Ooh, you never did your class one, look in all mirrors 10 times a minute (once every 6 seconds) . I can still remember it, but probably don't do it

Been there, done that, to my pals Daihatsu four track while sitting in the back and shooting out of the front passenger window.
I also managed to take half moon shaped notches out of the rubber window rubbers a couple of times!!
Why can't somebody invent a scope that's close enough to the barrel so that doesn't happen
