Login Pain

Post by andybrock » 13 Jan 2016, 15:39

Of all the forums I go on this is the only one that I have to login to every time I visit, even when I tick the "remember me" it doesn't remember me! anyone got any ideas why it does this?

Cheers

Having the same problem here,

I thought it was the new iPad?

Sadly not the iPad as I tried at work today and had to log in,

I leave the site and come back later...same problem.

Hi I have spoken to John and apparently the problem is more to do with your individual devices than it is the forum,he suggested you clear your cookies or at least any relating to the forum.
Hope this helps and does the trick,he said we did have this problem some time ago and clearing cookies on individual devices seemed to sort it

It's not a user end problem its a forum end problem, you have incorrect cookie domain and path set., I have the same login issues as everyone else.

Yes my account is the same as everyone elses I presume, I have had the same login issues using various browsers from explorer, firefox and chrome. I also run forum based software and I know about this problem regarding cookies and the domain being set incorrectly, if setup correctly it prevents the constant login issues members are seeing.
