any one else lost there messenger list of contacts? and only getting the skype contacts even though signing into microsoft messenger?

utter tripe it is.

google comes up with reeeeeems of it, all saying oh yes skype acceses your mesenger acount..not why or how, just it does.

any sugestions guys n gals?

Ms bought Skype and are closing down messenger and replacing it with ....... Skype. I believe.

i have a sneeky feeling they have taken the messenger on, but havent really, i.e. theve let it die, i found a contacts back up feature, but when i put skype on after a couple years they seem to have kept the old skype contacts..so..erhhhhh t rats.

They tried it with me when I was updating, I just un ticked the box which said, you must install Skype.

I will try and keep it as it is now, for as long as I can, but I'm only putting off

the inevitable

msn have retired and skype have taken it on, couple days ago all the messenger contacts disapeered, i thought skype had just let the contacts go on a re install, but, seems theyre back today and they'ed been hacked

a bit of a dorathy out of wizard of oz i think....oh snoopy it was all a dream after all..fff lol.
