Cheers Bruce. That reckons a range of 400 to 800 mtrs with no obstructions, so should be good. Would the receiver connect to on of the monitors used on nv, or would it have to be the tablet / laptop? It says cctv cameras can be plugged in to the transmitter :thumbup:

Having bought Thesmi's .17rem and not being able to see the holes at 100m, I built my 'Spotter in a box' a couple of years ago using a spare watec and a 5.8ghz(?) Transmitter/receiver to a 7" screen set into the lid of the box..never did quite get the proper sized lens for it though..

I'll have a hunt for my post......or take some more pics tomorrow

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting. :crazy: :lol:

Yes, the the screen should connect directly to the receiver.

would like to make one of these read the thread using the watec camera would this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FPV-5-8GHz-32 ... W9OHz,work using the watec as i got a monitor in the jeep which i use with my spotter
