Personally I'm not very keen on it, but a farmers wife did once give me the Marks and Spencers variant which was quite acceptable, it actually caused me to question it's origin hence the branded name above.
Now whether it was Spam under a different name or just another common or garden luncheon meat I'll never know because the woman in question is now dead so I can't ask her and I doubt M&S will be interested in tracing the origins of their tinned meat some twenty years ago.
Spam can have it's uses though so should we accept it as a convenience or a problem, cut into cubes and lightly fried it does make a good fishing bait, so you see Spam can be useful and shouldn't always be condemned as unwanted trash.
Another of my objections to Spam is the likelyhood of cutting ones hand on the tin, aren't they a bugger to open. It was Spam that had that stupid little key wasn't it ????
Damn I've just realised I've got my Spams mixed up, forget this post and concentrate on Corned Beef instead.
Can we have Corned Beef instead of Spam please.
Night.
