Bad language isn't needed, although on occasion as an emphasis it can be very effective. Unfortunately our American cousins never seemed to figure that out and say pooh all the time (Or a word somewhat ruder) and it just isn't funny. I digress.
I'm probably getting old and I do use it a lot but I try not to use it in places where young people will see or hear it. Funny that cos I swore even more when I was a kid, provided only my mates could hear me.
I find myself saying pooh a lot at work but that is cos they are a bunch of santimonious ahem, pooh heads with "you can't say that" attitude. But their rules and pays my bills so pooh head it is. Everybody knows what I mean. Sometimes less is more.
Relax and don't take it personally, the 2 guys are running a forum and you know what , oh gosh here we go again, "Pooh" happens on the other sites. Being a mod is 1, not easy and 2 a thankless task. I think we are all just trying to keep this forum nice and relaxed without the , Poohing idiots. Your not an idiot so sit back and think about it. (I'm not having a pop at you by the way)
Just remember the old saying, measure twice, cut once. The problem with the written word is that it sticks around for ages and doesnt go away and is there for other people to see long after you have forgotten about it. That then sends an impression to new people. Whereas if we were sat face to face it would all be throw away comments and nobody would notice.
Don't get yourself banned (We are not in a Orwellian forum (does that make any sense?)), we are a good forum here and you input plenty as we all do and we are all helping each other. Certain other sites would kick you off without a bye your leave. And we don't want this site to become the same and neither do the mods I guess.
So lets get back to normal service and stop letting it annoy you. We have nightvision to create.
