Hi all , new to the forum so just thought I would say hello . I found this site by accident , but after reading all the info on night vision I gotta say I am hooked and want to now make my own !!! So I am sure I will be asking for a bit of guidance from all the knowledgeable people on here that have built there own systems they all look awesome . Hi Keith, welcome to the darker forum.

Fluff up some cushions and get some serious reading time in mate. Don't plunge in to the first good idea you see because there are PUHLENTY more if you go back a few months worth in the DIY section.

Some are better suited to long range where you can - and need to punch out a good distance - and some at short smelling and hearing ranges where you'll be better being more covert. :angel:

Thanks mate .... yep certainly some interesting ideas on here will definitely keep researching peoples builds and see what suits my needs ... it will be for my 22lr which i use for rabbiting so will need a night vision setup that will work out to say around the 50 - 70 yards range I suppose .
