Howdy from Texas

Post by s10goes10s » 09 Apr 2014, 14:20

Thanks for having me.
I hunt at night ALOT, have been using lights & love them BUT I have some friends that have gen 3-4 military grade night vision & thermal gear.
I recently spent some time with them hog hunting & they have ruined me :(
I went to a hunting expo & there was a new night vision gadget that caught my eye.
It was cheaper than night vision but still out of my reach at this point in time & was very large & unwieldy.
A friend recommended that I build my own so here I am.

Howdy cowboy. Welcome aboard. You can build a night vision unit comparable to gen2 in no time.

Thanks for the welcome.

The gadget was called Nite Site.
After browsing your forums even briefly I find that y'alls homemade versions are a lot more compact, I like what I am seeing.
