hi,im a keeper from dumfries,looking at gettind a n.v. as the foxs seem to be getting more lampshy every season,joined forum looking for some advise from you experienced chaps.n.v. would be solely for foxes,going on me spare .204. looking at the photon seems to cheap to be good??will put a proper post up 2moz asking for ideas,cheers chris.

Hi Chris, Welcome to the dark room. :D

Photon with a doubler will be good for that 204 mate - I believe our Marky uses or used the same combination. :thumbup:

photon with doubler and some additional i.r is good for about 200yds mate
but as you suggest it is at the lower end of the n.v spectrum....still usable though

One sold on eBay just the other day £380 with mounts and torch :thumbup:

i may be wrong but i can buy the photon new for £399,and the doubler for £90,the adapter from marky on the forum for £40 and the t20 for £45 that adds up to £575 all new.the chap selling the one on here has come down to £520 seems a little expensive for second hand compared to new,what do u chaps think.what are the alternatives??i have a howa .204 sitting with no scope on it that is what made me think of the photon,i also have a 22-250 ruger m77 with a meopta meostar 2-10x50 not parralex adj,any options to go on this scope.

It is m8 there's couple more further down photons on there own I should be hopefully having Bruce's one his holding it for me till tuesday :thumbup:but if you can afford it buy the drone pro m8
