New member from Goole
Hi guys & gals thought i had better introduce myself as i have just joined the forum.
Been shooting for years now (all air rifle, none FAC) and after buying and selling different air rifles and pistols i have finally settled on what i think are the best for me.
Starting with my
AA s410TDR sporting a Hawk Panorama 3x9x50 ir ao,
BSA Ultra SE sporting an MTC Viper 4x12x32 ir (zero eye relief)
HW 100 TK sporting a Yukon Photon nv
All in .177 cal, just my preference so don't want to start a cal debate.
I have used nv before and still have my Yukon scentinal gen1 collecting dust in the gun safe, maybe up for grabs later.
I find the new photon very good and look forward to reading the views of the forum members and getting some tips.

Cheers John , i have been trolling the NV sections and its a bit like marmite with the photon , well its a bit like that with all nv systems.
I like the one where reducing the objective hole to reduce the light makes the image clearer, i found this out whilst bunny bashing and realised i had left the day cover on,
the images at 36 yards were a lot crisper than with the cover removed, might have to see some bloke about what size would be best.

Yeah , marmite sandwiches for the photon lads Daz but we're not treat like lepers, in fact , I think there's a certain amount of pity for us
. Have a good read up on the different threads, some interesting stuff and some very clever blokes. Incidentally , I don't class myself among the clever blokes , I'm just delivering a pizza.

Hiya Daz, welcome to the forum where some of us are still learning things as we go.
Don't tell anyone but the iris discovery was brought about by trying to stop off-axis sky light from bouncing onto the sensor from the shiny metal bit inside the objective lens of the Photon.
