hi all from Rotherham

Post by Popeye106 » 03 Jan 2014, 21:34

Evenin all thought I'd introduce myself as I may want to pick your brains later.im a maintenance engineer from Rotherham South Yorkshire and been shooting for many years on and off mainly air rifle but now shotguns as well. Love it and can't get enough I especially like being out at night on my own whether fishing or shooting just being at one with nature then trying to out smart it catch it or kill it lol. Most of my night shooting is spent bunny bashing but love having a go at mr rat wherever the chance comes along too. Currently using an air arms s510sl carbine with yukon nvrs titanium 2.5x50 plus doubler (Christmas present from Mrs T) still trying to get used to the yukon and can't decide if it needs more illumination?
So thats me in a nutshell hi all and have fun out there!

welcome aboard fella

the old yukon or cobra led illuminators work fairly well for air gun ranges on your scope. they should be cheap as chips on ebay these days

Hello some bloke hope your well.
What illumination would you suggest for my yukon nvrs if any?
Was wondering if it was worth using an add on to pick up eye shine further out so I can spot then stalk. Shooting using just the built in ir.
Cheers P.T
