Oh newbies
Hi Daz
Hi George.

Hi Daz
Hi George.
Re: Newbie
G'day Dazb! welcome aboard.
Things to do with a Photon? Kind of like things to do in Denver when your Dead?
High mounts to get it on your gun. See your local gun pusher.
501B IR torch from Some Bloke or a T20 IR torch from Sika Stag or Marky 610. The on board IR is crap. See the for sales section.
Doubler adaptor from Marky 610.
Yukon NVRS doubler from USTASshop.com
Filter for the front lens. Several threads in the forum.
Filter for the rear lens. Several threads in the forum.
A Coaster to make the scope focus ring work. See threads in forum.
Then you need a spotter so you aren't waving the gun around to see whats out there. Bresser 5x50 NV is the base level, often on ebay for less than 100 quid. Others like the 3.5x42 Yukon Hornet - wider field of view, lower mag, higher price from the OEM manufacturer of the Bresser.

You can join the fun:
There are how to build your own IR torch threads, how to build your own superior spotter threads, how to build your own add on digital NV behind a scope threads and a lot more.

Some great info there Radagast, I'm heading off to work soon for 3 weeks so I'll prob go a bit quiet for while but as soon as I'm back I'm going to get stuck into it and start modifying.
Once again cheers for the tips and advice
