Now you've pointed it out, I've had a look and think I'll get the same problem with my T20 mounted on the Photons weaver/pic rail.

Quick fix c'be a bit of 32mm waste pipe and insulating tape.... butts inside the bezel against the lens retaining ring and there's no light spill - you'd just need to work out the optimum length to lose the light flare on the mod.

40mm pipe is about the same diameter as the bezel so would be harder to tape on securely.

Another alternative would be one of those silicone hoses used on cars - bought a couple from fleabay for watec DSA's ....... but, if your torch mount is too close to the Photon body there may not be room to get the hose on, the wall measures 5mm. I've got one of the offset mounts and the silicone pipe won't fit on mine without snagging the body/doubler.

Or mount the torch on the rear bit of the Photon's tube if you've got room so the mod is in the shadow of the body?

's me 5p's worth.

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

Order some of this off eBay to cover your mod, it's like an elasticated bandage that clings to itself, it's not sticky and won't mark your mod but will stop the glare.

eBay item no 271234286414
