Wanted... pair of Optilock 30mm LOW rings.

Got the big Swaro x56 back from the factory today and thought I'd stick it straight on the Tikka .17Rem but my 30mm Extra Lows are just too low. Bugger, aren't they always!!

Anybody got a pair of the Lows going spare?

According to the official bit of card the Lows measure 32.5mm/1.28" from the underside of the base to the horizontal ring split. My EL's measure 3.14mm odd from the underside of the ring to where the bottom of the 'scope tube sits so that gives a measurement of 5.14mm for the Lows.

Blued or stainless... don't mind.

Wotcha Theo.... Many thanks for the offer, I don't have any loopy bases so will stick it out for Optilocks. I'll probably be looking for some QR mounts too when the pic rail arrives for the 595.

Hi i have a pair in stainless they measure about 9mm from the bottom of inside tube ring to the flat bottom of tube ring.If any good whats the going rate bud?

That's good news on the .243! I've christened the .17 but the little Swaro 1" tube AV 6-18*50 (Mint if anyone wants one) I'd had on the HMR isn't up to last light so I'm looking to stick something bigger on it & the Swaro was sat there in a box having sort of switched to Zeiss 6-24*56"s....... Now that's a last light 'scope! Shot 3 cubs on stubble last night under the light reflected off the clouds from sunny Luton! 8.15, 8.45 & 9.30.... No lamp or NV, spotted with binos. Luv it.

The other news is that the OneLessCharlie mod arrived for the 17 on Wednesday....shit its small! only measures 31mm diameter by 155 long, if its as quiet as the 38*160 one on the .20prac I'll be a very happy bunny. If not it can go back in exchange for the bigger one. Been using the .243"s JetZ which is good too. Watch this space.

As soon as I get the Swaro on I'd better post a pic.

Cheers MOT, I'll go and look...... Bewsher on Stalking D has offered me a pair of Lows for £28 posted and I said yes to those last night.

But spares are always useful.... GrahamJ... I'll have a measure later and let you know.... Need a pair of some sort of height for the photon but may go sideways for qr mounts if the pic rail that's coming doesn't add too much extra height to the whole set up.

The pair that arrived from Bewsher were, unbeknown to him, a pair of higher ones that have been ground down and lost the little locating boss and my extra low screws aren't long enough.... so they're going back.
