Yep, remember the rag and bone men well. Goldfish or balloon I think it was round here. And you'd get some old biddy come out with a shovel and scoop up after the oss had gone

I can remember when, for a couple of woolen jumpers, they would dish out rickets or the plague.
From my childhood memories, I can vaguely recall something about a great big fire in London, I think it was. Something about it starting in a bakery in Pudding Lane. Ah, they were the days
