Adam

You will have to explain the difference to me between dedicated and add on, I thought Gen 3 was Gen 3.

You have to remember that 6 months ago the only thing I had ever seen through at night was an NS200.

People think because I make the illuminators that I know all about Nv. I am learning as every day passes.

dedicated = riflescope

addon = monocular or cam behind a dayscope

as a rule an addon needs many times more light than a dedicated

A figure of 500y was quoted by one guy that never bought my illuminator. The guy that did use my illuminator said he could see out to that range and some.

I think we can start to get into the argument of long range shooting at night. I personally think a 300y crystal clear image through the scope is all I would ever want. Yes its nice to see further and spot things. For shooting 500y at night is crazy in my opinion. Each to their own.

Can we do this somewhere else please, fellas? This is cookey's 'wanted' thread after all.

Thanks.

i see you picked up on my train of thought there perfectly mate lol

350yrds is the max for me.....the average being less than half that. if i want to see further i have spotters
i don't think its much of an argument though. on my ground especially (very hilly) its quite rare to be able to see further than 350yrds without shooting over massive dales that could hide an army, i dont even shoot over drystone walls.....you just never know what could be lurking behind em
