TRIJICON IR Hunter MK3 Thermal Scope
Considering selling a brand new Trijicon IR Hunter MkIII Thermal Scope I have just imported from the US.
Probably the best Thermal Scope you can buy, this is the 35mm lens version and retails in the US for $7,500.00 plus tax.
Looking for £8500.00 ovno (this is what it cost me to buy and import legally to the UK)
Quality blows every other civilian thermal out the water, it’s small and compact and has a standard Larue mount to fit any picatinny rail.
Can record with external screen and take pictures on internal memory.
I haven’t used it on my rifle yet but have been out to test it, can ID a rabbit easily at 250m, foxes at 3-400m on a clear night.
This is one of only a couple of these scopes here in the UK and extremely rare. Last one I saw sold for nearly £10k
Any questions please ask, happy to email photographs of the unit.
Would prefer collection in person due to value.

Why are you selling "probably the best thermal scope you can buy", after the the trouble of the getting an import license for it please ?Whittakerd wrote: ↑07 May 2020, 01:07Considering selling a brand new Trijicon IR Hunter MkIII Thermal Scope I have just imported from the US.

ITAR was also my first thought, but the OP says it was legally imported into the UK.
I might have been tempted to sell a kidney if it had been the version with the 60mm lens
Cheers

I'd hazard a guess the 12 micron 35mm model will be no better than a Thermion XP50 , based on the spec, but vastly more in costWhittakerd wrote: ↑07 May 2020, 01:07Considering selling a brand new Trijicon IR Hunter MkIII Thermal Scope I have just imported from the US.

Like already said the IR Hunter or Reap -IR 60mm would be the boy to have..

It's much much better than any of the Pulsar kit.Mini Magnum wrote: ↑11 May 2020, 23:02

However as pointed out its twice the price you can buy in the US. I had one few years back, i had to sell due to divorce.
ITAR to the UK is doable, but if you get caught its a bad and expensive day.

Re: TRIJICON IR Hunter MK3 Thermal Scope
I’d like to compare a 35mm model against a £4K Thermion XP, just to check with my own eyes ..
Re: TRIJICON IR Hunter MK3 Thermal Scope
There are probably plenty of videos out there.
Don’t forget the Pulsar stuff is made for the mass market.
The TRIJICON is made with the state of the art GASIR core technology. But that’s why the price is almost double that of the Thermion.
The question is, is the quality worth the price tag. Is a Ferrari any better at getting you to the supermarket than the Ford?
