As i read myself i see I talked all religions, maybe a Trump effect. But:

All the countries I mention are secular countries , i my self haven't been to Church since my sister's wedding (5 years) and I don't remember how long it was before that.

I can live with all religions around, it's about understanding them and mutual respect of beliefs and freedoms, but not the radicals, the ones wants to practice Jihad!!!! You just can't. Anyway I'll get to that later, after this short bed time story:

Our problem in the Middle East is complicated because all the Middle East is originally Roman Orthodox Christian and Jewish land, much more Christians populated after the first century, and we were builders we built beautiful and modern cities, and that period lasted for 600 years, then came a sudden invasion! Ok .. normal until now, but.. that invasion was of a religion!! and seeking after destroying other religions and ethnics!!!! an invasion of tribes called the Arab Muslims. So after many many fought battles that took years and decades, and although the Christians knights were tougher and more clever warriors and killed a lot more of the offensive attackers, but the attacks kept on coming back relentlessly, in the end it was a war between cities inhabitants/builders/artists/armies that had active lives of industry and agriculture, and the invading Arab tribes whom war and stealing was all they do and think of in life (yep shiti times), and at the end lands started to fall one after another and the Roman Christians were completely defeated, in their land now called Middle East. But in spite of everything and after all the killings and murders there still was so many Christians left, a lot more than the Muslims but of course by that time weaker, those remained had to either flee to mountains or live low grade life or pay to live under Islam laws, or convert to Islam, or, or, ... different forms of survival tactics.
Then the Islamic invasion it self started to get invaded buy the growing branches of Muslims, 100 years of those Muslims, another period of others, until the last one that was the Turkish Ottomans that lasted for 400 years until around 1900.
But the numbers of Christians remained a more than the Muslims, for more than a thousand year, only late around the 19 century (especially at the year 1862 or so) when the Ottomans started massacres, number started to get even, then Christians numbers started declining of harsh poverty, while Islam started to grow and then they started to multiple after oil in the Gulf was found.

So EXCUSE ME rod.. It's not their land, they had done nothing good to it all those centuries, the British and French saw that first hand when they arrived, there were almost nothing added from their part, especially after all those centuries.

Of course, I'm writing what comes to mind, so many glorified historical events took place like the crusades, and so many details slipped can't fit all in here, but Wikipedia is your friend for professional and detailed story telling.

Anyway back to nowadays, the Islamic groups the West, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey are backing now and causing all these problems are not the Syrian people as they claim in western media, and not even the Sunni part of it, they are only a portion of Syrian Sunni Muslims, a big portion about a million maybe (Syria's population is 24 million), this portion is considered minority among Syrian Sunni Muslims, but they are the ones that have very strict and often even wrong understanding for their faith of Islam, and they claim to speak for all the Syrian Muslims, and all they want to do is to bring down the secular "System" and establish State of Islam, all those groups want this goal not only ISIS, but some are more patient than others, and some tries to camouflage them selves in modernity, but they are fooling not even the west that is using them for its interest. By the way same story in Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, ......etc

As for letting nature takes it corse, i wish it was your call, or the Western leaders listen to that, Syria would become a great place to live in very shortly.

Only read the first line of your post so far but no, it wasn't for you, it was for Bruce

OK, read it all now. And I ask, what's it to do with us ?? When we interfere it (A) costs us a shed load of money which we don't have, and,(B) goes belly up and ends in disaster.
We need to keep our noses out of other countries troubles and close our doors. We need to only let in those which will benefit us. One simple answer would be to bring back conscription and make it compulsory for all immigrant males to serve five years in our armed forces unless they have a preferential profession. If they aren't capable of serving then sorry, door's closed. No dependants until conscription is served to a satisfactory standard.

But above all we should not interfere in other countries problems overseas.

Can't agree more.

Just suggest you hang a note at the door says: Sorry country is full

That's all you need, you don't want those among your arm forces.

Who made troubles in the Middle East because they refuses to live in our secular countries with everybody, and want to change them to Islamic states, don't need to migrate to Europe or the UK, they will find their peace of mind and welth in Saudi Arabia, let them take care of the mess they create at their Mosques, schools, colleges, society..... way of life.

It's now official, you can fool all of the people all of the time.

You won't hear from me for a while, I'm off to build my personal nuclear bunker for the time when that idiot Trump presses the button.

Cheers

Bruce

Don't think it will be that bad Bruce, trump speaks to putin apparently which has to be good. It needs something like this to stop the Muslim and third world occupation of the Western world that "Our wonderful leaders" are gleefully accepting. We will now have Putin looking after Russia for Russia's sake, Trump doing the same for the states, all we need know is for the MP's top block brexit so Farage gets in for us and the world will be a better place, for us at least. Middle East and third world countries should be left alone, no interference and no aid, let nature take it's course for once and let Muslim do unto Muslim what they will. Totally block any technological and monetary assistance and leave them to it, just ignore them and repatriate their population where possible.

I know a lot will not agree with this rather cruel stance but it needs doing for our children's sake, otherwise their children will not have a country to call their own. Callous yes, Xenophobic possibly, racist definitely not as I don't care what race they are, True and necessary - absolutely !!

Nail on the head, sorry but he's right......we meddle too much, I was in Bosnia when that mass genocide kicked off and they just kept shooting at us while we were giving aid to hungry people, talk about un-grateful. Power and religion fueled that one, so just leave them too it, hard stance I know but all this PC is counter productive, i think we stick our nose where it doesn't belong !

Good one..

Joke aside, that story was the first thing that came to every female voter's mind, not so many can forgive letting such thing go.

But the next strong woman battles for US presidency, will be unstoppable  .
