Re: Pommes frites, tout de suite.
Just had a few days over in the Lake District.
As usual when you get home there's nowt to eat, or very little at best, so off to Morrisons and really fancied curry and chips.
I bought one of those ready meals, yep curry and chips, much to my other halfs disgust and damn it was good.
Anyway, on another note, I've been feeling a little unsettled of late due to all this internet tracking lark.
You look for a product on the net and then get swamped with advert on that subject for what seems an eternity, it's even got to the stage I swear blind that they/them know where I've been and I don't like it.
To cap it all when in the Lakes where nobody knows me and I felt relatively secure in my supposed anonymity, I got the shock of my life.
There I was standing on the lakes edge at Windermere, by the I did see the Lake Windermere monster, if the one in Loch Ness is called Nessie, then this one is Windie, anyway, there I was on the lakes edge and wandered up to one of there big Perspex enclosed maps of the area and to my horror there was a big red arrow pointing to where I was standing and it said "You are here."
HOW THE HELL DID THEY KNOW ????
