I started my Husky on the 3rd pull after 4 years of sitting on the garage floor!

Now have 1 less 40' conifer in the garden

Message to hairyyoda. I have removed my Welsh outburst from recent post. My crude addition was unacceptable, insulting and unforgivable. I wish to apologise to you and any Welsh people that may inadvertently be listening to my remarks. Throwback to a different era and i should have moved on.

Really gratifying Jp243 to hear that your Husky started after four years. Fraulein Stihl is now on the lawn awaiting her fate. Is there anyone else whom would like to tell me about their fully functioning chainsaw and their forty footer. Feel free there is Stihl time.

lol very good!

locally to me i'd say its a 50/50 split tends to be the younger tree surgeons with the husky kit and the older boys with the trusty Stihl but that could be the opposite darn sarth

Even though a friend of mine in Horsham is Husky through and through

Jp243, am not sure you should be telling me this. Am starting to get this warm glow for your man in Horsham.

Well ! my newest best'est friend "preserved onion", It truly warms my heart  that you have identified the error of your ways with such a willingness  and without the need of any prompting or of any asking that you should deeply consider recanting your tirade of hurtful and negative comments about the ancient and esteemed Welsh nation and it's population  :lolno: I feel that you are now showing that you have a eagerness in making greater strides forwards to being a more thoughtful forum contributor :D but you still must remember that there is still much work to be achieved on several levels about the general way that you seem to express you pent up emotions "especially concerning the Germans and blaming them for any failings or defects in a Husqvarna 025 fuel system" but you are now showing a maturity with a deeper and more meaningfully thoughtfulness. Good on you etc.

I now have greater hopes that your going to succeed on your journey of searching for greater knowledge and off topic input and experiences and your wish to earn more "kudos point"

Your quote >>>
"I have removed my Welsh outburst from recent post. My crude addition was unacceptable, insulting and unforgivable. I wish to apologise to you and any Welsh people that may inadvertently be listening to my remarks. Throwback to a different era and i should have moved on"

Am I right in thinking that your last sentence in your quote "Throwback to a different era and i should have moved on" has anything to do about purchasing a "bad jar of cockles" or some undercooked "laverbread" :wtf: ??? "IT MIGHT HELP YOU TO TALK ABOUT IT ?, CUT THE BAGAGE FREE ?, LIGHTEN THE LOAD ?, SHARE YOUR PROBLEMS ? CLEAN CHAPTER etc. Negative thoughts  are "BAD" for your health  and can easily create excessive "bile" which could start off "Irritable Belly Issues" which could lead to you spending vast amounts of your valuable time on your thrown, so to speak etc. Think good thought  , put your trust in being "LUCKY" will see you through each day
and also invest heavily in "scented candles" which you should burn by the dozen throughout your house

No No hairyyoda its a Stihl 025 and the man in Virginia says that this type of saw - small Stihl series is/are 'a fifty hour' throw away saw/s'. So basically the small series are shite and should be avoided. And while your waxing lyrical (you must be a bard from Aberystwist) you haven't told me if you are Gog or Magog. You are such a smoothy - did you used to be in the RAF.

 My newest best'est best friend  Most of my CV etc  . >>> Prince of Wales Dry Dock, big lathes and even bigger boring machines, 24 foot bed horizontal planers, large milling machines, all tool-room machinery that were used in refitting fleet axillary and costal tankers up to 28,000 tons. From there to BP Baglan Bay contracting as a millwright installing a stainless steel water treatment plant for the new chemical works, then from there to BP Llandarcy again as a millwright contracting on the installation of the new petrochemical vacuum plant that was being installed instead of another catcracker. Built a log cabin in a wood  and carved spoons and 3 legged stools for the tourists and hired out bird watching hides, bought some houses for rental and got addicted to fishing under the light of the moon, needed to see better in the dark, joined this helpful and user friendly Night Vision Forum, bumped into you on the forum and made you my newest best'est best friend and now spend all my time endeavouring to encourage you and lead you on a path of knowledge and enlightenment which should then in turn reward you with a meaningful state of wellbeing and contentment which will then allow you far more leisure time to yourself "instead of blaming the Germans for any design failures or gremlins that you might think  are affecting the fuel system on your beloved Husqvarna 025"
Think positive and stop watching excessive amounts of Sky News, the glass is more than half full.

Complete bollox pickle. Go look on ebay at the amount of ms170/171/180's on there with all the paint worn off the bar and still running and ready for work
Are they in the same league as stihl's pro saws?....nope.....does that make them shite?......not even slightly

I think the best two options for you are either to take your 025 to an expert
or just go out and buy a new husky 455 and be happy that stihl are a crap brand because your new Husky works so much better than your butchered 20 year old stihl :D

Pickle, just to make you even more fed up with the Germans, i have a lovely Husqvarna 142E very similar to your 025 but the only difference is mine starts, i have had it since 2008 and i must have cut a forest up with the amount of use it's had in that time. I also have a 455 Rancher that starts 2nd pull
and the big 3120XP 120cc monster that starts as well all Husqvarna.

i was given a Stihl 021 that started ok, but i gave it away before it could let me down.

i work on German stuff all day the 3 pointed star variety, and i can tell you it's not all that good, save yourself the stress and throw over the nearest hedge  but make sure there's no one the other side first
