So my adapter came in with threads this time. I had to remove the illuminator to be able to screw all the way in. I will order another one smaller in diameter to fix it. Here is some daylight footage with me holding the dvr and scope and trying to look at things far off. The houses in the distance is 1000 yards or so according to google maps. I will try to check for infinity focus when I get a chance at night.

I'll second that. A new adapter is cheaper than a new lens.

Here is the revised drawing. 50MM instead of 60MM outside to match the lens (Damn illuminator in the way which I didn't notice)

Thanks for that, what size is the silver collar just above the threads on your lens, looks to me that you could get rid of a lot of material on the mount.

The silver collar on these lenses are right at 32mm. I left a good bit of material because I was thinking about drilling and tapping set screws into the adapter to press up against the back of the lens but I don't think that is needed.
