Jungle

Post by rodp » 02 Dec 2015, 22:15

Just wondered, has Bruce carried on up the jungle yet ? If he has, does he know the Forth bridge is falling down and parts of Scotland may be independent before they want it

Back from the jungle yesterday - it looks like their bridges are doing better than the Forth road bridge!

It looks like this one has caught them by surprise - everyone thought it was going to be the main cables which would break - now it looks like the steel work below the road deck is full of cracks.

Of course everyone in Scotland knows that the road bridge was only built to be a viewing platform for the REAL Forth bridge - the one that carries the railway line. That railway bridge will last for ever.

They're building another road bridge alongside the existing one and that now appears to have been a very good idea - they need to get it finished quick.

Cheers

Actually I was on the coast in a place called Pointe Noire where it's still hot and humid, but no jungle.
Actually it's not too bad, French is the language and a lot of the culture is French, so it's pretty civilised.

Cheers
