Foxpro and my lugoles
Re: Foxpro and my lugoles
I've got a FoxPro Spitfire, so I can have a look see into the innards of the beast and find out if it's possible to do what you want - Not sure when i'll get a chance to do it though - I'm off to the Congo next week for a few days, so it will probably be early December before I can report back.
Cheers

That's fine Bruce, and very good of you. There is no rush as I had surgery Tues so won't be out for a few weeks, they performed it with a bolster chisel I think.
What's happening in the Congo ? ..................... don't say trees growing

Yeah, it will definitely be warmer
I hope you don't mind a wee geopolitical rant
I'm going to a place called Pointe Noire - it's the economic capital of the Republic of Congo aka Congo Brazzaville as opposed to the Democratic Republic of Congo aka Congo Kinshasa - confusing eh - got to make sure I get on the right plane!
It all used to be called Zaire and probably something French before that
Plenty of oil off the coast and the French and Americans are into it big time.
The French because they used to run the place, French is the local language, and they still have a lot of clout with the despotic ruler of the country
The Americans are into it because the oil is offshore and their tankers can pop over the Atlantic, hook up to the loading buoys and when full up, head back to the US without having to worry about any Middle Eastern people giving them a hard time.
Corruption is pretty bad - the customs people always make you open all your baggage and then put their upturned hand inside and look at you and say "how much for me"
Biggest scam I know of are the government officials who go onto the tankers to check how much oil they are loading.
The oil companies pay these guys huge kickbacks to declare a lower amount of oil loaded than is actually the case.
Typically a tanker will load up with 600,000 barrels of oil but only 400,000 will be declared.
The head honcho knows that this is going on, but since the government officials on the tankers are all "his" men - most of the kick backs come to him.
During my time, I've travelled to many of the countries in black Africa and I hate to say it but this level of corruption is nothing unusual.

If you looked up 'africa' in the dictionary, it should just say "FOOKED" but in a bigger font than that

Re: Foxpro and my lugoles
Hi Rod, this an easy and simple fix! And you don't even have to pay for it, for Christmas ask for ear and nasal hair clippers to clear the old lugholes out of un-necessary foliage, job done , only down side chilly ears, brrrrrrrrr! Hope this helps
