don't want to be negative about the arrow but most people who had one got rid of them because they were not as good as claimed,i was thinking of getting one and went for a nite teck nt200,very pleased with that until my mate got an nt300,what a difference much better, managed to pick up a second hand nt300 ,now the w d v 700 is supposed to be the front runner.

Hi Savage.

Ive also got a Ward-D 700, on this forum, it is well known that this is the TOP digital add on.
You only need to look at this "thread" ie someone's bought a s/h one via a heads up for £615 ??? or there abouts after less than a day for sale.
It is known to work at the ranges that your wanting (condition's permitting).
They might have got the arrow sorted now ???, but didn't Scott country stop selling these's when they first can out because customers wern't happy with them ???.
On here we dont here owt good said about the Arrow, or Atom, we just here NOTHING.
I think if you'd asked on here first before buying, the membership would advised you to go "Ward-D 700".

I do hope it works for you, as ive dropped b***ocks quite a few time myself costing me money, i use this experience to try to help others, however what suits one, dont alway's suit someone else.

By all accounts the dragonfly throws some serious light out so you should get a fair distance

We shall soon find out if it's sorted. I'll b testing soon as and will post my findings on ere. And as iv said it will b returned if not up to the job. My problem is I live in Ireland and the not many people using these units so I have to take other people's word on performance.

Just had a look on starlights website.

reading between the lines, its not as sensitive a camera as the E700 in wdv, hence needing a smaller focuable laser (dragonfly) to get out to any real distance
It doesnt state display resolution but i'd give even odds its a kopin 640x480 same as wdv and most builds on here
It still has the same housing which went down like a lead zepplin on here when we first saw it

Some might say i'm biased, but i wIll buy whatever is the best digital rear addon on the market no matter who's made it
I dont work for clive, its just he has the best gear out atm

I also got that sundog but that goes without saying. If I'm looking at a target at 250yds with a e700 setup up the mag I'm not going to flood on my ir.

Yes Adam, ive also been reading their web site, it says arrow no good a foxing ranges with nightmaster (the Ward-D 700 is), im of the same oppinion as you, it need the tight beam high powered laser to perform.
If you read back in our illumination section it has been commented by someone that the dragonfly does get out there, but with a "dirtier beam" than the led illuminators.
With the "Wardy" for foxing ranges you can use nightmasters, t/b 67's, T74's, sunnranger's, or i would think dragonfly's.
