Hello

Post by Fieldarcher » 17 Jun 2015, 21:25

Hi Guys
Thanks for letting me join .
I'm just putting together a system for my gun and the e700 I have just revived from Amazon is a lot bigger than the flowpast fittings I have.
I have so far built a small monitor into a box with batteries inside . The on switch turns the system on along with the ir illuminator . The rat tail switch that came with the torch I am using to power up when pressed a wide angle spotting cam mounted above the torch . When you release this the screen defaults back to the scope.
Anyone know a reliable source for the e700 that fits the flowpast plastic fittings with an ID of 30 mm ( I think)

You don't have an E700. Sounds like you mistook a 700 ~TVL board camera for the E700 box camera.

This is the real deal: http://www.sure24.co.uk/solutions/night ... gn=NVFORUM

Thanks for the reply to my question.
I did not mistake what I orderd , it would appear to be a latter model that was sent in a larger alloy box . It looks exactly like the one you are selling and carries the same Sony chip set . I will source another housing for this camera but would have preferred the smaller vertion but not at £60.
Thanks for your help

OK - I'll bow out of this thread now. I do not sell cameras by the way.

I realise some people have a very direct way of saying something but you ARE in fact mistaken. You have NOT bought an E700 camera - they are only made in 30mm square boxes.

Could you put up a link to one you bought so other members can can also give their thoughts on the camera you have?

This is the camera that I was sent .
My mate and I are both building a system and it's become a bit of a competition between us.
I'm trying to cram everything into the smallest box I can lol . "some Guy" I'm sorry if I offended you but I was just a bit pissed at thinking I has bought the right one with 16 mm lens only for it to be bigger . There is a 50mm plastic pipe fitting but I wanted to keep it small and neet.
I have no problem in removing the ir filter so I thought £24 on Amazon was the way to go.
I mean £59 for one that is ready to use is very reasonable , just thought I could save a few £s .
Last summer I had a loan of a pulsar and I think it's a bit over rated unless you need it for a high recoil gun.
Probably should stick to my archery or chainsaw carving lol
Sorry again
Derek

That's not a KPNC camera. The image is for a generic Chinese housing, multipple examples of which you can find here:

There is a good chance it's one pf the first two cameras in this link:

Not as good as the E700, but still useful.

Hi

Sorry to ask but on the sure site there are two cameras listed , one at £60 and one at £71.
Which is best ?
They look the same to me.
