Hi chaps got this form an old cannon camcorder and was going to try and fit it to a scope but not going to now so if anyone wants it for swaps anything lying around lights cams etc thanks cav

i had a "go" with one of those, and got mine working.
i dont know about YOUR unit and how YOURS worked? But, i dont see the "loupe" and mirror in your pictures?
most of them used the loupe/mirror casing unit... because the deflection wiring is reversed on most (all?) of those camcorder CRT units...
(they are made to look at the picture reflected off the mirror, withou the mirror, the picture is "backwards" left to right.
you CAN "swap" the deflection wiring around from side to side... or, just use the mirror/loupe assembly that came with it (assuming it had one)

Many don't use a mirror, depends how the viewfinder is made. 4 out of 5 so far for me had no mirror.
I don't know what kind of number it actually is, but the resolution of these CRT screens is great, well worth using them in my opinion.
One persons junk can well be another's treasure.

Yeah there was no mirror in this one that's how it came out of the camcorder
