I made two setups one light weight and one bigger unit for use from the van, as i'm not using the light one as i dont tend to walk around its for sale.
It has a 3.5" screen with clamp which is slightly turned to favour the right handed shooter although not enough of a problem for a left ahander and an camera holder which fits a MTC viper/mamba scope although should fit other scopes of around 43mm on the eye piece.
The camera is a Sony (genuine) CCD 540tvl although not in the sale league a as a watec it's not a bad place to start the camera is colour in day time and black and white at night, with the IR i have it is good for 40-45yards to see the quarry with eye glare much futher, although this will depend on your scope alittle ideal for ratting. I sold one of these setup to a guy on the hunting life forum and he said he could see more like 70yrds but I don't want to claim somthing as far as that as what each of us determine as eye glare / full picture is totally different. As said for ratting round a farm it will do it allday.
The only thing you will need to get to complete the set up is a battery and a mount for the IR illuminator unless you want to use a IR torch.
I have used head phone jack plugs to wire the camera to the screen so its realy neat and compact.
Its not a Nitesite but is a very good homebuild with out sounding to big headed
I am after £100 ONO for it with the IR illuminator or £80ono if you want to use your own IR torch/Marky light postage will be £5.50 the parts allown cost around £130 before you make the DSA adaptor which you need a lathe for and they you need to buy the silicone hose and the rubber coating to finish it off.
There is a thread for the set up here
