Looking for a second hand/old thermal core for low budget DIY experimentations.

Hello. :)

I would like to get into the thermal adventure, but in a DIY manner.

Therefore, i am looking for ideally a second hand thermal camera core, providing an analog video output, in order to elaborate my own thermal system and implementing a learning process around it.

As non exhaustive references, which would be great, for instance:

- Raytheon 2000AS core (Lens + sensor with its PCB, or at least sensor with its PCB)
- Raytheon L3 core (Lens + sensor with its PCB, or at least sensor with its PCB)
- ....
- Thermal core from a old Argus 3 camera (used by fire fighters), or MSA, Bullard,
....

My budget is limited: something around 300 £ + shipping would be my maximum capability for this project.
I am aware that it is a quite limited budget, therefore finding a salvaged thermal core with a 160x120 sensor, in decent working condition, would be already really great.

In advance, thank you for reading and for your eventual proposal.

Cheers.

Stéphane

I think there's some one else here possibly wanting one - look on your old sale post - and I sent you an email earlier.

Hello Nightguru.

Thank you for your offer, but if someone else was interested by your offer and contacted you earlier, priority to her/him of course!

And meanwhile, today i concluded a deal (lower resolution than yours, i have to admit) therefore i will soon end it up this announce as soon as i will receive my core and close the case with the seller (checking if the item is conform to the description).

Thank you again and best luck for selling your unit to the previous interested fellow.

Cheers.

Stéphane
