Trijicon IR Hunter MK3 35mm FOR SALE

Considering selling my Trijicon IR Hunter MkIII Thermal Scope I imported from the US.
Probably the best Thermal Scope you can buy, this is the 35mm lens version and retails in the US for $7,500.00 plus tax.
Looking for £7500 no offers. (this is less than what it cost me to buy and import legally to the UK), imported in 2019 through US state department.
Quality blows every other civilian thermal out the water, it’s small and compact and has a standard Larue mount to fit any picatinny rail.
Can record with external screen and take pictures on internal memory.
I can ID a rabbit easily at 250m, foxes at 3-400m on a clear night.
This is one of only a couple of these scopes here in the UK and extremely rare. Last one I saw sold for nearly £10k
Any questions please ask, happy to email photographs of the unit.
Would prefer collection in person due to value.
Please PM me with any questions.

can you post a copy of the export licence so we can see it was legally exported from the USA?
Cheers

Hi Bruce
I’m unsure what your issue is exactly but yes the scope was exported from the US through the State Department. On a DSP-5 , before you ask under what authority (That’s a Permanent Export)
Not really that difficult as long as your willing to fill all the paperwork out and have an FFL in the US willing to help you.
I’m an RFD here in the UK and I import a lot of NV and Thermal kit as well as firearms from the US.
ITAR is only an issue if you try to circumnavigate it.
Anyway I believe the scope may have now sold to a forum member, just waiting on a deposit subject to collection and trying it out. He will also get a copy of the export and import authority.
With regards to the other items I’m selling? BNVD 1431’s? These are a civilian Non-ITAR item manufactured in China? With Photonis Echo (Civilian) White Phosphor tubes available to anyone online with next day delivery?????? The L3 Harris parts are also available to civilians from most of the European NV stores?

Hi
You just have to export it from the US, find an FFL (Firearms Dealer) who stocks it and ask if they can undertake export on your behalf.
You then need to get them to apply for an export permit type ‘DSP-5’ which is for permanent export through US State Department.
You’ll need to fill out the State Department forms they send you and supply documentation relating to your identity and the intended use of the item after export. (Usually a copy of your UK firearms certificate and passport is a good start).
Then be prepared to pay a fee! Varies item to item! You then need to contact UK.Gov to ask whether it requires an import license, again this seems to vary what day of the week it is you call, some things do some don’t.
Item is then shipped over and you get stung with UK import Duty and VAT on combined value of scope and shipping!
Be prepared for a big bill this side!!! Also check whether the commodity code your importing under is subject to ‘Trump Tax’ as that can be an additional 5-25% on top of import Duty+VAT
Relatively simple if you don’t mind waiting 3-4months and happy to pay all the additional costs!
It’s pure myth that ITAR items can’t be exported, it’s just a lot of hassle and rigmarole, so you need to be 100% sure you want it and also accept that if it were to go wrong and need to be returned to the manufacturer you have to complete the whole process again in reverse to get it back into the US and then the same again to get it sent back after repair!!!
