Pard Headscratcher

I'd welcome any thoughts on a situation I recently discovered on the XY values on a pard nv008.

In 12x (or whatever the higher mag is deemed to be pn an early nv008 unit...) the values are X 314 Y 360. Happy with group size and location on target.

Dropping mag down to 6x, values are X 317 Y 332. No change in group size or location.

Has anyone experienced this before? I know there was an issue with the values rounding up or down between magnifications, but not by 30 "clicks" and no change in POI.

I can live with it, just looking for an explanation really.

I thought this was something you put on the end of your eyepiece in case you get an itchy head.
