Does anyone have the 2 batteries and charger that they'd be willing to sell?
Cheers

Novice1..... my advice would be to invest in some decent rechargeable AA batteries and use the battery cradle instead.
Myself and a couple of members on SDUK have had numerous problems with either chargers or batt packs dying. For the price they are charging, they are not fit for purpose.
I bought Eneloop rechargeable batteries, and they have been exceptional, giving me more run time than the DNV batt pack.

Thanks for the input gents. I've got a dozen or so eneloops, but they don't seem to want to work in the battery cradle. Sure I read on here that they have more insulation than standard batteries and so won't work in the cradles as force them apart or something. Some cheaper energiser rechargeables are working and I put that down to less insulation.
If you're both getting the eneloops to work, then maybe I'll have another play about. Are you just literally popping them into the cradle, or do you have any tricks to share?

No tricks or tips Novice, I'm using the black Eneloop pro AA batts.
They are a bit of a squeeze in the cradle, but fit well.
Have tried posting a photo, but have given up though.....

Ok cheers. I'll give it another go tonight. They all seem to be a very tight squeeze, which makes it a pain to get them out without damaging the cradle or battery tbh.

They are a tight fit...
I just use a watch makers flat head screwdriver to prize them out gently

I always used Kentli batteries with my HD50S. These were used in the original cradle. I have found that they will not work in the newer cradles though, which has the redesigned terminals. Could this be the issue with the Eneloop batteries?

Had a play about this evening and got it working with the eneloops, which is a big plus as got plenty of them. Can only seem to get it working with one of the cradles, regardless of batteries used. Any ideas as to why I'm having an issue with the other? It's unused as far as I know
