Need a Soil Screener/Trommel

Post by hairyyoda » 15 Jul 2017, 11:38

 Need a Soil Screener/Trommel, if anyone might know of one for sale either working or in need of repair, 8 ft'ish x 4 ft'ish slanted bed, powered by electric/hydraulic or diesel, 8 or 10 ft high off the floor, static or on skids or wheels, that would suit being loaded by a 3.5 ton midi digger.
Willing to give a tidy cash drink for any good information about anything suitable that might be lurking around in a yard or farm or hedgerow etc etc.
Thanks
Phil

Rod, I cleared a bit of jungle "future" building plot 3 years ago 50 ft beach and birch trees and brambles like trifids :wtf: and I have got about 120 ton of soil that is to good to dump, there is some plastic, glass, and rubble etc. in amongst the pile and I just can't find the incentive to go through the pile with a digger and hand pick the rubbish. Any way another lump of useful plant would make a few shekels, good blended top soil is fetching very good money recently.
Neighbour has been playing silly games for 2 years planting privet cuttings on my side to try and extend the width of the boundary hedge  , it all came to a head Friday morning when he had a rant that I could not cut the hedge as he owned half of it, I told him it was not a problem and he could also own my half of the hedge in about 2 hours time :o ,
I dragged a Husky 266xp out of the truck and put the saw down the middle of the hedge for about 20 foot in a very tidy straight line "even if I say so myself ?" Piled my half of the cut hedge up in tidy sized heap and told his Mrs. next door that her hubby can feel free to take my half of the cut hedge at his leisure ?
Worth a laugh to see some photographs of the semi finished half width hedge, I will send you photographs of the "sliced hedge" if you could post O/K
Thanks
Phil

 I sent the best photograph to your mobile, unless it got lost in the clouds :lolno: , rain stopped play the weekend "BUT" I took a "BIGGER CHAINSAW" with me today for an hour at 5:20 am just to tidy up my vertical cuts through the centres of the stubborn privet trunks
Better photographs to follow, just been given 5 litres of a weed-killer that is supposed to work like "Agent Orange" two injection into a 6 foot Japanese Knotweed turns it to a mummified dried-out plant in days   :x
Going to keep that little surprise jem in reserve until I lay my hands on a all-in-one-suit, a respirator and a back pack sprayer.
Just doing a draft flyer now for all the houses within 100 yards or so to "shut their windows and bring their cloths in off their lines" :wtf: as the now larger pile of half the hedge and other cuttings is "good to go with a large dollop of Red and a match at 10'ish tonight
Thanks
Phil
