I have a brand new MTC Viper Connect with all receipts and box.
Looking for something of the same value in similar condition.
Cheers,

Swop - MTC Viper Connect
Re: Swop - MTC Viper Connect
MTC Viper would be good or similar thing
Re: Swop - MTC Viper Connect
AMD or SCB?
3-12x24 or 3-12x32?
I have a 10x42 half milldot Sidewinder. Case, shade, sidewheel (small). Very minor scuff on tube.
I like my 3 Connects which I use with NV.
Would like another.
Prefer AMD as the central bit of the ret gets too busy and bright when illuminated, with the SCB ret.

No love for the Viper Connect?
Re: Swop - MTC Viper Connect
For those who are asking how to use a Connect for NV (without putting too much strain on the soft plastic spacer thingy on the eyepiece).
This is how I do it
Screw it in so it doesn't protrude.
I wrap a single layer of insulating tape around the soft part of the eyepiece and the dioptre adjuster together, though you may have to adjust the dioptre later.
The e700 fits inside a 40mm waste pipe screw on end cap fitting (Wickes solvent weld type (or was it Screwfix?)) without the cap. (See various generic build instructions for this).
I found a 40mm waste pipe coupler that would fit over this. It fitted snugly over the eyepiece AFTER I had made 8 2cm saw cuts into one end, so it could splay out a fraction.
The coupler may have come from B&Q or Wickes, written on it :
W061 MUPVC
40mm (1.5")
(43mm O/D)
H MADE IN UK
BS5255
Results in the e700 lens being roughly 1" behind the eyepiece, which is ideal.
It's not elegant, but it works. The short eye relief allows me to stick my monitor on my HW100kt (shorty) rail as well - see pic.
There is very little length or weight hanging off the Connect.
I could have stuck the camera on the rail behind the scope (like wot I've done with the monitor). But I'm reasonably happy the camera is OK as it is.
