Have an aspheric lens, but removed as it became too heavy and performance of this smaller T20 lens is adequate.
I have had no reliability issues at all. The picture quality of the Addon when using the inbuilt LED is perfect and ideal for air rifle or 22LR ranges.
The picture quality when using the laser is good, but the laser does produce a dirty beam, which can be focused out. Being able to zoom in full at 200m+ is very handy.
The spotter picture quality is perfect, bright ness adjustable, focus and shutter adjustable. Even has 3 brightness setting for the LED.
