Scope wanted

Post by rodp » 06 Jul 2016, 19:31

Right gents, got the .204 which is going to be the go to rifle in bad weather, bought a synthetic (which I hate) purely because it's been raining non stop virtually for months (years ?) and it's an hour back from the shoot. If this gets soaked the so be it, if it rusts then it rusts.

I now need a scope to plonk on top, must be nv add on compatible (Ward D 700), would prefer relatively high mag (x18 / 20 ish ?).
Not at all bothered about looks or illuminated ret but must work perfectly and hold zero. Ideally a mid range scope suitable for centre fire.

So,
Good with NV add on,
Relatively high mag,
Mechanically good,
Work perfectly
prefer 50mm ish objective
Side parallax adjustment prefered.
Centre fire proof.
Probably forgotten something though

See, I've even done a tick list to make it easy

Cheapish would make it even better

This looks to be a very broad requirement specification Rod. Perhaps you should narrow it down a little further ........ colour, lens caps, cleaning cloth, box, etc.

;)

I Have a MTC Viper here 6 -24 x 56 works great with a E700 Holds Zero had it on my .243 before upgrading to a Nightforce, so no longer needed.

Well if you insist  Preferably black, but black will do, if neither of those then I'll settle for black. Cleaning cloth would be nice, especially in pink with some pretty flower pictures on, but not imperative as I've got some Brillo pads somewhere. Box to be in a sort of cardboardy beige colour, unless it comes with stickers or go faster stripes which would be rather tasty
