Hi Thanks for the replies this is just a normal white light torch for when I am out with the dog over the fields etc just want a decent quality torch not the cheap cr@p you get from argos etc lol needs to use a 18650 rechargeable battery

Just found a nice looking torch on one of the banners at the top of the page its a Ward T501 Torch White anyone got one and what do you think of it

All will be more than enough for walking the dog ... even the equivalent T20/T38/TR38 range would be pretty damned good. 50mm lenses in the 50's and 38mm lenses in the others.

From scratch and just wanting a decent torch to walk the dog I'd just go for the TR38 with your choice of white led....on the basis that it's the easiest to upgrade with different LEDs, bigger lenses and there's already a tube extension in the packet if you wanted to double up on the 18650's.

Battery and charger-wise I'd either buy from LL or I get mine from torchy the battery boy...aka big_f_d_d on fleabay... as do a lot of others on here - he's a good man and only sells quality stuff. None of your dodgy shit. Google torchy.
