NOW SOLD

On the 30th March I purchased a new XD50S from Scott's. Now 3 weeks later I need to turn it back into cash.

So I have for sale a virtually new XD50S that has had approx 3 hrs use.

I would like to see 2200.00 for it, which is a decent saving over new.

Payment by BT or cash on collection. Happy do do face to face or insured courier.

oops warranty void according to Scott Country , who supplied this ,Warranty to initial purchase ONLY

That's got to be bollox, warranty is on the unit and not the person.
Bet there's a law case on that too no matter what they say about non transferable warranty

At worst it just means that I would have to handle any warranty claim.

As long as the you give the original receipt to the person who buys it from you they will have proof of purchase and Thomas Jacks will honour the warranty (as long as it's still within the warranty period)

whats not stated is this is a replacement for a faulty one and thus will have no 'sale' receipt , just passing on what S C said as I stay next to them and was interested in the spotter, no bollocks phone them and ask?

1: The unit is / was brand new.
2: I have a dated receipt from SC.
3: The unit is not a replacement.
4: The unit is not / has never been advertised on ebay (for the benefit of graiglearn who seems to think it was)
5: graiglearn has never indicated that he is interested in buying the unit.
6: Please feel free to phone SC and ask.

Now then graiglearn, would you mind f***ing off and minding your own business.

Couldn't agree more! Why some people just have to interfere with a genuine sales thread is beyond me!
