HD's are the old versions so some have gone sub 2k at a very few sellers
They aren't publishing them as there's an anti-competition price fixing going on with loads of stuff like this.
As the XD's are out some folks are upgrading too so if you hunt around you'll find some sub 2k as long as you pay by bank transfer and not using cards

Ah, I see Genuinely curious that's all, not trying to catch you out buddy. I'm happy enough with mine for a while then will probably buy one off Clive, .................... unless a bargain crops up meantime
