That's why I threw everything other than the lens in the trash and redesigned a lightweight, push pull body for it that will fit a standard torch mount
Those things are nearly three quarters of a kilo with the batteries in, the redesigned one less than 200 grams

The lens makes up bulk of the weight. I haven't got one, judging by 66nm crelant head ,but I would say around or over 100g.

its not the lens thats the weight its the body as well
its big and bulky I cut mine down and trying to take some weight of the front bezel as well its like a lead pipe
plus the tube is 31mm so dont fit any standard bloody mount had to shape one to fit
they are good but like whats been said its the lens that dose the job

Hi Darren, long time no speak.
I think it's fair to say that, like the crelant torch for example, most T67's will be used for long distance centrefire fox shooting where a heavy rifle - frequently used with transport - helps the larger caliber user in the same way a heavy barrel does.
Anyone would think that all other large 67mm + lensed torches are all a lot lighter. Think I'd rather use a T67 than a LF dinner plate too. Having said that I wonder how many people have them on an air rifle because it makes them look well equipped.

I personally see the T67 as a searchlight type torch not rifle mounted at all.
Land Rovers, who would be daft enough to own one?

I have a standard t20 ( red pill )
Its a great little torch, for scanning... But lacks power, range
How do these torches ( t38 - t50 - t67 ) compare to the above
Thanks in advance
