Price cut
How does £65 posted sound.
A bargain for anyone wanting a good camera for a spotter or even a add on rig.
I have got a couple of these and an assortment of lenses that could go with sale.

Hi there, I'm interested in one of those please. I bought a 902h2 but have had problems with it so this could be a perfect replacement!

Let me know if still available.

Thanks,

PJ

These are a very good camera and the camera of choice before they doubled in price to over £100 on eBay secondhand.
They are bulkier than the e700 so not as compact for an add on but ideal for a spotter. I think they are better at gathering light than the e700 but the watec's retail new for about £300 I think so they should.
Do a bit of reading on here I am sure there will be a comparison video somewhere.
I have never used a e700 but I am sure others will of done a side by side test.

I've built several add ons and spotters with the Watec 902H and I still think it's a brilliant camera that ticks all the right boxes for NV use.
It has a 1/2" sensor with 752x582 pixels as opposed to the now common 1/3" 960 x582 sensor in the E700/EJ230
A bigger sensor with fewer pixels means each pixel is larger and consequently significantly more sensitive to light.
The 902H is also a black and white camera as opposed to most cameras now being colour.
All colour cameras have filters fitted in front of the sensor to create the colour signal.
These filters reduce the sensitivity of the camera
The Watec doesn't have any filters, so again it's more sensitive than a colour camera.
At £65 it's a bargain.

Cheers

Also apart from the gain switch they are truly "plug and play" so you are not tempted to bugger about with different settings everytime you use it
