cheap parts for 12v illuminater

Post by sheepy » 09 Jan 2014, 20:51

This is basically what I need Rolson donor torch , kd 74mm lens , olson + star, driver+dimmer( led-supply), dimmer knob, 2.1 dc plug/socket, ally pill for led. I don't know a lot about it but the parts need to be suitable for 12v

If your determined to build one, either use an xp driver or an led-supply one 1amp, as for the Rolson cheapest I found was £7 on the net , the lens comes from kaidomain 74mm, will need a little fettling to fit the bezel,as for the olson on a star unless your reflowing your own, would recommend Ian ( sikastag ) as his are top notch, then need to make a 34mm diam ally pill, There are other builds from 50mm to 78mm lenses, depends what your needs are! Might be easier to purchase one ready made from one of the guys on here and invest in a good camera and screen from the off, will save you money in the future! Still probably come in less than £200 pound this way and will still outperform the likes of a NS200 at 3-4 times the cost.
