Thanks for the QR Pic mount recommendations chaps..... There's supposed to be a Third Eye Tac rail on its way.... I've seen that Sako make a QR lever Optilocks base - has anyone ever seen a pair of these?

I never have and was wondering if they might be an option... The standard base with low rings sets my Swaro x56 Z6i at the perfect height. Might mean a call to GMK to see if they actually import them.

What I'm really getting at here is Cheek Weld... As soon as you start adding rails you start compromising cheek weld, something that's always plagued dedicated units... til the Photon came along.

Cheers

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

force64, you need to add a location to your profile.

Thanks.

That's exactly it, the knurled locking ring on the doubler lens, just unscrews.

If the adapter was the same OD as the lens, you could use the flip up that came with the doubler lens on the photon without the doubler.

If your waiting for one of mine you'll be waiting a long time, you haven't ordered one?
Land Rovers, who would be daft enough to own one?

Looked at making it the same o/d but I thought it would make it too weak so went for the o/d of the material minus a scrim ;)
