Selling my only C/F rifle so my loading gear needs to go with it. I rarely go out for fox these days: partly that only one permission occasionally wants one sorting but I often see some vague fox features in our Papillon and I'm gone a bit soft about that.
The scope can be split if the remainder is sold.
I bought it knowing there wasn't much life left in the barrel and soon got a replacement fitted by Neil Mckillop who has an excellent reputation, it has had well under 1000 slightly downloaded rounds through that barrel. The stock is the standard fibreglass one and a bit on the agricultural side. The rubberised recoil pad had got sticky so I fitted a replacement that nearly matches the butt profile. It has a Timney trigger set rather light - but can be set harder. Its a tack driver in calm weather.
The sound mod is a predator 12 with no visible identification marks, wrapped in hockey stick bandage that might leave a residue if removed. The bipod shown in the picture is not included. The loading gear speaks for itself, the two tubs of Varget are up to weight.
The scales warrant a comment, its a laboratory scales, supper accurate and they were seriously expensive in their day.
I'm valuing the rifle, sound mod, rings, cases and Varget at £400
The loading gear at £100.
The Delta titanium 2.5-15x56 HD SF with 4A IR ret at £500: optional if the remainder is bought.
Its a bad time to list one during lockdown but safe to assume most would have to wait for a variation to be processed anyway.
