Sorry Bob, but I am a bit confused. You want another screw on lens cover/filter so you can remove the red lens and replace it with a clear lens, that can be used in darkness ?
i know it’s mad but so am i,
but that’s correct
bob
Okay I see. I think it will reduce the night capability but I understand the desire to experiment, hence my wish to try the red lens on the cover of my N355 and improve the daylight image. Cut IR filters work to a degree and sharpen the definition, but not the colour.
I have just had a reply from Flir USA to say my details have been forwarded to the distribution warehouse for delivery, still no mention of a fee.
that sounds great, i may have the centre opened up a bit more, but that depends on how well,it performs as it is,
keep me posted sir and thank you
bob.

I can`t remember and didn`t honestly look at the lens cover/filter when I had my Dronepro, does the red lens remove easily ?

Just had an email from FEDEX saying shipment from Flir USA scheduled for delivery on 30th, so looking good so far and still no mention of any fee.
