Night Eye night vision full setup

Post by RobT » 03 Feb 2016, 21:41

First post on here guys so be gentle
Bought this Night Eye system from a friend a few years ago and only used it a few times but my old eyes prefer my Photon which I've now converted to an 'extreme' :D I think this was the 200 model but it didn't come with any paperwork so cant be certain ;)
What I do know is that its a great bit of kit and every bit as good as the Nite Site system which was and is a lot more money. It was so good that Nite Site started legal action to shut them down
You can find YouTube links for the Night Eye 500 system to give you a better idea and this is basically the same but not quite as powerful.
Instead of a rubber tube to connect the camera to the scope which cut down your options, its fitted with a Pulsar NV Challenger camera adaptor and various sized collar inserts depending on what size your scope is ;) It also has a UK style mains charger and 'three' Li-on batteries which weren't cheap but you're never going to run out in the field! The batteries are held in a black nylon carrier which fastens to the stock which you can see in one of the pictures. It also has various cables to connect it to a recording device.
The picture quality is very good and the built in IR is adjustable and easily good enough for rats and rabbits at normal distances but a Night Master or similar lifts it to another level and fits easily to the Picatinny rail on the camera adaptor ;)
I'd like £250 for it which with the extra batteries and Pulsar adaptor make it well worth that money so not really looking at any offers ;) Paypal (with fees) or by Gift or Bank Transfer or collect in person. I know I'm new on this site but I've bought and sold numerous items on the BBS site and my Ebay feedback is 100% for what its worth. My past job also means I'm certainly not going to try and stitch someone up! lol
Best regards,
Rob

Looks like I'm fixed up with a Photon so I'll try this for one last time at £200 posted then its definitely going back in the cupboard. :D
Easily as good as the NS system and with 'three' Li-on batteries and other extras. ;)
