Looks like someone swapped the lens over. 58mm 2.0 lens is not wide enough to let the light in. Try it wit a 50mm 1.4 lens, you'll get a better result.

Yes I was pretty miffed when it turned up and was different from the advert, especially as I only bought it for the 100mm lens. Pretty despicable really.
