I bought an NV-100 from a US site but when it turned up it came with this lens

I haven't been able to find any instructions for it. Do you have any idea what this adjustment 1s for?

Looks like someone swapped the lens over. 58mm 2.0 lens is not wide enough to let the light in. Try it wit a 50mm 1.4 lens, you'll get a better result.

Yes I was pretty miffed when it turned up and was different from the advert, especially as I only bought it for the 100mm lens. Pretty despicable really.

Sorry for all the questions on your sales thread
1 are there any of your lenses for sale left?
2 does it make much difference the distance it is from the sensor?

Thanks S
