Hello from the midlands

Post by jakeyb2525 » 01 Nov 2014, 19:52

Would just like to say hello to all... 4 nights ago I was just about to buy my 3rd nitesite set up to use this winter.... after looking at a few alternatives i came across this website and decided to have a bash at it myself :o

After a couple of nights reading and getting my head round it, I decided on the setup i wanted and got it all ordered!

Since Thursday night a few bits have come, fingers crossed it will all be here by the end of next week.

I've gone for:

5" screen
E700 with ir removed & 16mm lense
6800mah battery
Flowplast as camera housing
Silicone hose for between camera and scope
power splitter
BNC to RCA Adaptor
stock pouch for the battery and cabes
and a couple of different mounts to mount it all up

I dont think i"ve missed anything for now, as soon as it all gets here ill build it up and post a few pics in the gallery section, i like to have a tinker so i can see this being the start of an on going project

And thanks for all the info its been a great help and defiantly saved me a few quid

welcome aboard Jakey

hopefully your diy build should turn out as good as, if not better and a hell of a lot cheaper than a nitesite......

be interesting to hear what you think, once you've finished your build ;)

and to see the piccies of coarse........we all love piccies

cheers jock
