Some of you ought to feel ashamed of yourselves

I've just scanned through the active members list at the bottom of the home page. There's members who are signed in who have been on here for months and not even bothered to introduce themselves.
Strewth - we don't expect gratitude but a quick 'hello I'll try one of them ideas thanks' wouldn't go amiss, or a photo of what you have done and how you possibly refined an idea would be great - we don't bite.

There are plenty of shy types.
I suppose we could always kick them off. Lol

When I read your post I thought your right, how long does it take for a quick intro, so I thought I would have a look and see mine, and to my surprise and disgust I am guilty of this.
Firstly let me appologise for this and also hope I am not the only one, your comment was deserved but I wish someone had prompted me on my first post.
I shall start a new post now and do a quick intro, sorry for this hope I havent offended anyone to much,
Thanks barney
Not an excuse I know but I think the reason for me forgetting was I registered last year, I thought it was this year, but I must of registered when I was thinking about Nv then when I got to looking properly forgot all about it, No excuse I know

No apologies needed Barney - you've joined in topics and given your opinions which go to help any one else with the same feelings.
I wasn't referring to members who had posted without introducing themselves - its the ones who joined and have not even asked any questions about anything they might have queries on that brought them here - because other people might have the exact same query that may have been answered.
Yes I guess some are just shy or can't spell or whatever - I know I'd be lost without spell check.

There's a lot more takers then givers Dave, just click on the "Members " tab top left and sort by post count, ascending.
I suppose it's bound to be that way to a degree due to the way the forum has developed more so around the DIY market of which only a comparative few have the knowledge to dispense.
I still find it the best and most friendly NV forum around without a doubt, just a shame a few more don't join in, even if only in the Chatterbox section.

Nope - You have made over 100 posts me old beauty.
I'm on about the people who post nothing at all - just gleaning what they can without joining in, not even a hi guys. There's plenty of them just watching, learning and copying - even since this thread started so they have read it and still shamelessly done bugger all about it.

Haha, no toys being thrown - rather trying to prompt some of them to post up a bit - even if its just a bit of banter.
